Quietex

Quietex and Ace for Horses

A lot of people say I should use Ace or quietex to calm my horse during shows. His only problems are noise. I would consider but half the people I ask about it says it works fine and the other half says it doesn't. So would these products take the edge off my horse?

1. if anything use quietex... ace shows up on tests and is pretty much just a no no for shows. if it's the noise, maybe earplugs? i've known a pony that was the same way. they plugged him, and he was a saint from then on.
2. ace can be risky to ride a horse with in its system... and both of these drugs can show up in tests... i would try earplugs if it is only the noise...
